Back up your SRM Profiler database

SolarWinds recommends backing up your SRM Profiler database before running the SRM Profiler installer. See Back up the SRM Profiler requirements in the Appendices.

SRM Profiler versions 5.6 and newer use MariaDB. For previous versions, MySQL is used. For versions prior to 5.6, substitute MySQL for MariaDB

The time it takes to complete the upgrade depends on the size of the database. Large database can take more than 6 hours.
