  • SRM Profiler proxy agents are required for collecting information from external resources across multiple servers thus reducing workload to the SRM Profiler server.
  • Resources monitored should be interpreted as XX Virtual Machines and XX Fibre Channel Switches and XX Disk/LUNs before adding proxy agents. See Sample deployment.
  • It is recommended that you perform maintenance on the SRM Profiler database using the dbutil tool. This tool will allow users to run maintenance routines keeping the database running smoothly and make backups of the database. For more information on using this tool see dbutil.
