Updated: June 16, 2017

The SRM Profiler installer upgrades your current SRM Profiler server in place. Simply execute the installer on the SRM Profiler server, and it will find the current installation and migrate the configuration and history into the upgrade.

SolarWinds recommends that you back up the SRM Profiler database before upgrading.

  1. Start the MariaDB service before running the installer.
  2. Close all folders before running the installer.
  3. Run the installer.
  4. Upgrade SRM Profiler agents after the SRM Profiler server is upgraded.

The time it takes to complete the upgrade depends on the size of the database. Large database sizes can take more than 6 hours.
