Overview

This article provides steps to do a manual license cleanup.

Environment

All STM versions

Steps

1. Backup the Storage Manager database to a folder outside of the install directory.

2. Uninstall Storage Manager.

3. Delete the Reg Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Prefs.

4. Install Storage Manager. This will have a 30 day evaluation license.

5. Restore the database.

6. Activate the Storage Manager License via Settings > License Manager.
