Unable to delete user accounts from the STM Web Console

This article addresses the issue where the option to remove an existing user account is not available in the STM Web Console.


All STM versions


This occurs because STM is designed such that the option to remove an account is disabled if the LDAP value is set to True. 


  1. Log in to the STM Web Console.
  2. Go to Settings and click Server Setup All.
  3. In the User Authentication tab, set Enable LDAP Authentication from True to False.
  4. Save the changes.
  5. Log out of the STM Web Console and then Log back in.> Go to Settings > Manage Users and verify that the option to delete a user is enabled.
  6. Delete the user account that you'd like to remove. 
  7. Set Enable LDAP Authentication back to True.
