Hitachi HDS SMI-S provider not reporting performance metrics

Overview

Hitachi HDS SMI-S Provider does not report any performance metrics. The provider reports a value of 0 for TotalIOs, ReadIOs and WriteIOs. Being the SMI-S provider is not reporting these values, neither will Storage Manager.

Performance data collection must be enabled on the Hitachi array service processor (SVP). Hitachi has documentation which explains how to do this. It is recommended to check the Performance Manager user manual provided with the array or open a support ticket with Hitachi.
