Solarwinds & Cisco Live! Barcelona
Join us from the 29th of January to the 2nd of February at Cisco Live 2018 in Barcelona, where we will continue to show how monitoring the network with SolarWinds will keep you ahead of the game. At our booth (WEP 1A), we will demonstrate how SolarWinds network solutions can help. As a bonus, we are also hosting a pre-event webinar - Blame the Network, Hybrid IT Edition with our SolarWinds Head Geek™, Patrick Hubbard on January 24th - GMT (UTC+0): 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. There's still time to RSVP.

Monitoring Celerra Devices in Storage Manager (STM) only

When a Celerra device is monitored only in STM, it will not have any licenses counted against it.
For example, if you have a Celerra device with 20 disks, the actual disk count against STM license will be 0.

Note: If the overall license count has exceeded, STM will stop collecting data for all the Celerra devices, even though the Celerra disks are not counted for licensing.

Monitoring Celerra Devices in Storage Resource Monitor (SRM) and STM - Integrated

When SRM and STM are integrated and the Celerra device is monitored on both, the license disk count will count as one for each disk owned by the Celerra device.
For example, if you have a Celerra device with 20 disks, it will count as 20 against your license. If SRM and STM are integrated and the Celerra device is being monitored only in STM, the Celerra disk will not count towards the total license count.

Note:If the overall license count has exceeded, then we stop collecting data for all the Celerra devices being monitored on the STM side, except for those Celerra devices which are added on both SRM and STM and are licensed on the SRM side (that is, in other terms, if a Celerra is licensed and monitored in SRM and the same Celerra is monitored in STM, then it will collect irrespective of whether license count has exceeded or is within limit).

Monitoring Celerra Devices in SRM Only:

When a Celerra device is monitored only in SRM, the license disk count will count as one for each disk owned by the Celerra device. For example, if you have a Celerra device with 20 disks, it will count as 20 disks against your license.
