Windows task scheduler monitor alerts for disabled tasks

Overview

This article provides information and steps to prevent the Out of the box Windows task scheduler monitor Alert which provide triggering Alerts for Disabled Tasks. 

Environment

SAM version 6.0 or later

Steps

1. Log in to the Web Console with Admin privileges.

2. Click Settings > Manage Alerts.

3. Duplicate and Edit the Out of the box Alert:

Windows Scheduled Tasks: Alert me when task last run result is non successful

4. Go to the Trigger Condition Tab.

5. Add the following line:

Scheduled Task - State- is not equal to - Disabled 
 


 

6. Complete the Alert Wizard and save changes.

7. Enable the updated Windows Scheduled Tasks: Alert me when task last run result is non successful and disable the Out of the box one.
