Overview

This article overviews what you can potentially do if you receive an "invalid query" command on a Windows Service monitor in SAM.

Environment

All SAM versions

Cause

This is due to the platform that the polling job is ran on.

Resolution

  1. Edit the application monitor that is having issues.
  2. Expand the "+ Advanced" section.
  3. Click "Override template" on the part that says "Platform to run polling job on".
  4. Adjust this from x86 to x64.
