Environment

All Orion Platform versions

Cause

An Antivirus program is preventing the Configuration Wizard from setting and creating the registry key. This can be verified from the Configuration Wizard logs.

Resolution

  1. Disable or uninstall any active Antivirus programs or applications.
  2. Install or upgrade the SAM module needed.
  3. Complete the Configuration Wizard. See Running Configuration Wizard for more information.
  4. Enable or re-install the Antivirus programs or applications.

You should be able to complete the Configuration Wizard without the above error.
