Overview

User / no access to Real Time Event Viewer

Environment

SAM 6.x

Cause 

The Real-Time Event Log Viewer is not enabled.

Resolution

  1. Login to the Web Console.
  2. Click Settings > Manage Accounts.
  3. Select the account and click Edit.
  4. Scroll down and expand Server & Application Monitor Settings.
  5. Change Real-Time Event Log Viewer value to Yes.
  6. Click Submit.
  7. The next time the User logs into the console the Real Time Event Viewer will be shown.
