System drive fills up with Agent log files

Overview

On the system hosting the Windows directory, the Agent fills up the following directory with log files:

c:\Windows\Temp\SolarWinds\JobEngine.v2

Environment

  • SAM 6.2 to 6.2.2   
  • Microsoft® Windows Server® 64-bit (all versions)

Cause 

Software bug.

Resolution

​To resolve this issue, upgrade your system to SAM 6.2.3 or later. This will automatically upgrade the agent as well. 

To work around this issue, set all SAM Applications to run in x86 Platform mode - Application Settings > Advanced Section, and setting the Polling Platform to x86.
