Overview

SolarWinds SAM agents cause high CPU utilization on Domain Controllers using Netwrix Account Lockout Examiner service.

 

Environment

  • SolarWinds SAM 6.3 and above

 

Cause 

This is a known issue with Netwrix.

 

RPC calls to WMI from an application server hosting Netwrix Account Lockout Examiner. https://www.netwrix.com/account_lockout_examiner.html.
