Enable Remote Procedure Call (RPC) issue in SAM

Remote WMI connections use RPC as a communications interface. If the RPC service is disabled on the target server, remote WMI connections cannot be established. You should log into the target server and enable RPC.

  1. Log on to the target server with an administrator account.
  2. Click Start > Run, then type services.msc, and then press Enter.
  3. Scroll the list to Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
  4. Right-click Remote Procedure Call (RPC), and then click Start on the shortcut menu.
