Overview

This article describes the issue when Powershell Monitors that are running via Agent run into an Out Of Memory Exception.

Environment

SAM version  6.2 +

Cause

The Execution Policy of Powershell on the target System is set to restricted.

Resolution

  1. Remote Desktop to the Target Machine.
  2. Open a PowerShell Session.
  3. Run the command:

Get-ExecutionPolicy

If this is set to anything other than Remote-Signed, run the following:
Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned

  4.  Restart the Agent Service (Run > Services.msc).
