Overview

This article describes how Linux swap space can be monitored as a volume alert using SNMP.

You can monitor Linux swap space using SNMP. If available, the swap space displays under List Resources and must be selected for monitoring.

Environment

  • All SAM versions

Detail

Create a swap space alert.

  1. Create a Volume alert.
  2. Enter Swap Space for the display name.
  3. Complete the trigger action criteria in the configuration window for the volume alert.
