Overview

This article provides steps on how to monitor memory on a windows service and alert if it uses 90% of Server memory.

Environment

SAM version 6.x

Steps

  1. Go to Manage Applications.
  2. Edit the Template to set Memory threshold.
  3. Go to Alerts > Manage Alerts > create the Alert.
  4. Select I want to alert on Application. The Actual trigger condition is as follows:
  •     Node Status is not equal to Down
  • Application Status is equal to Critical
  • Application Application Name is equal to Your Template's Name
