Overview

This article describes how you can monitor an external website.

All versions of SAM

Steps

1. Add the node to an HTTP monitor. Select "External Node: No Status (No data is collected for this node. Useful for monitoring a hosted application or other element on the node but not the node itself.)

 

2. Edit the component monitor, and click Override Template to add/modify URL

3. Modify the URL section:

 

4. Click Submit.
