Linux/Unix Component Fails with error: Invalid key format

Overview

When testing a Linux/Unix Script Monitor against a monitored node the following error produced:

Failed with Unknown Status. Invalid Key Format

Environment

All SAM versions

Cause 

The error is caused when credentials specified for the component within SAM has a private key associated with it that the target server is unable to accept or recognize.

Resolution

Specify credentials which do not have a certificate associated with them

OR

Configure your device with the relevant certificates/keys.
