Overview

The NLB Cluster Node status component monitor inside the Windows Network Load Balancing application indicates "Invalid WMI Query. No Results were returned by WQL query".

Environment

All SAM versions

Cause 

The query ComputerName value needs to be specified as a fully qualified domain name. 

Resolution

  1. Bring up the Windows Network Load Balancing template, check it and click Edit.
  2. Expand the NLB Cluster Node status component monitor.
  3. In the query field, change the ComputerName value to a fully qualified domain name.
  4. Click Submit.
