WMI-based monitors fail to connect to target system.


  • All SAM versions
  • All Windows versions


The System hosting the SAM installation is not trusted.


1. On the Target system being monitored, go to Administrative Tools > Local Security Policy.
2. Click Network List Manager Policies.
3. Double-click Network Location.
4. Set Location Type to Private.
5. Set User Permissions to User can change Location.

6. Click OK.
