Unable to setup PSLanguageMode setting for the PowerShell website.

Environment

All SAM versions

Resolution

  1. Open IIS Manager on the Exchange server.
  2. Expand the tree to the Default Web Site/PowerShell virtual directory.
  3. Double-click Application Settings.
  4. Change the value for PSLanguageMode to FullLanguage.
  5. Recycle the MSExchangePowerShellAppPool application pool.

For Exchange 2013, also check the following:

  1. Expand the tree to the Exchange Back End/PowerShell virtual directory.
  2. Double-click Application Settings.
  3. Change the value for PSLanguageMode to FullLanguage.
  4. Recycle MSExchangePowerShellFrontEndAppPool application pool.
