Unable to poll Asset Inventory using SNMP on a device running Dell OpenManage 9.1

Overview

When you poll Asset Inventory using SNMP on a device running Dell OpenManage 91, the procedure fails. 

This problem may caused by using the incorrect SNMP version to poll the device. DellOpenManage only supports SNMPv1.

Environment

  • All SAM versions
  • Device running Dell OpenManage 9.1

Detail

Change the polling method to SNMPv1 or use WMI.
