Overview

 

The SSL Certificate Monitor returns the following error: Unexpected Error occurred. Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.

Environment

  • SAM 6.2 and earlier.

 

Cause 

HTTPS bindings are not accessible from the Orion server. It is possible to disable an HTTPS component but not the SSL component. 

 

Resolution

Fix the bindings issue on IIS server or upgrade to SAM 6.2.1, which allows users to disable this component.
