This article provides brief information on switches as part of the SAM Hardware Health Overview.

Detail

The switch is shown as Compaq because an SNMP branch where information about the switch is a Compacq branch. When HP took over the Compaq, the MIBs present on these devices were not updated or changed and still report themselves as Compaq. This could occur with a VSM module (SAS switch) provided by HP.

You can disable the hardware health for the target device.
