Updated March 20, 2019

Overview

This article provides steps to remove the application monitor template from a large number of nodes leaving it on others without having to visit each node.

Environment

All SAM versions

Steps

  1. Log in to the Orion Web Console.
  2. Click Settings > All Settings.
  3. Under Product Specific Settings, click SAM settings.
  4. Under Application Monitors, click Manage Application Monitors.
  5. Click the Assigned Application Monitors tab.
  6. Click the Group by drop-down menu and select Application Monitor Template.
  7. Locate and select the targeted template in the list on the left.
  8. In the list on the right, select the check box for each node where you are removing as assigned application monitor.

After a template is assigned to a node, it's considered to be an "application monitor" for that node.

Select the check box at the top of the Assigned Application Monitor list to select all rows in the list.
