RADIUS User Experience Monitor authentication failed

Overview

After upgrading to SAM 6.2.3 Or SAM 6.2.4, you notice that the Radius UX (User Experience Monitor) has stopped working has run into authentication issues.

 

ERROR:

Radius authentication was failed, unable to communicate with remote RADIUS server!
Exception message is: No such host is known

 

DEBUG LOGS:

DEBUG SolarWinds.APM.Probes.RadiusUserExperienceProbe - Radius authentication was failed, couldn't communicate with remote RADIUS server!. Outcome - Undefined.

Environment

  • SAM 6.2.3
  • SAM 6.2.4

Resolution

The Engineering team has created a temporary resolution for this issue. A permanent solution will be included in a future release.

 

Please contact Support and open a case for this issue. The Engineering team will determine if the temporary resolution is appropriate for your environment and, if so, provide a link to the resolution.
