Monitor NTP drift for Windows servers

Overview

This article describes how to set up a server Clock Drift (PowerShell) monitor.

Environment

All SAM versions on Windows environment

Steps

  1. Go to SAM Settings > Manage Templates > search for Clock.
  2. Select the Server Clock Drift (PowerShell) option > click Edit.
  3. Disable the Clock Drift (Internet Time Service) component.
  4. Edit the Clock Drift (NTP) component, and specify your NTP server in the Script Arguments section > click Submit.
  5. Search for the Server Clock Drift (PowerShell) template again.
  6. Select the box and then click Assign to Node.
  7. Select your nodes > click the green arrow > click Next.
  8. Click ASSIGN APPLICATION MONITORS, and click DONE on the next page.
