Error: Exception calling "FindByIdentity" with "2" argument(s): "Multiple principals contain a matching Identity." in the RunWinRMConfigurator.log file.

Resolution

Open Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC).

  1. Search ADUC to see if more than one "Organization Management" group exists.
  2. Search ADUC to see if more than one "View-Only Organization Management" group exists.
  3. If duplicate "Organization Management" group exists, rename the group which is not in the root "Microsoft Exchange Security Groups" OU.
  4. If duplicate "View-Only Organization Management" group exists, rename the group which is not in the root "Microsoft Exchange Security Groups" OU.
