Disable the Average Document Indexing time counter

Table of contents

Overview

The Average Document Indexing Time counter was removed from Appinsight for Exchange Application in SAM 6.2.1. However, upgrading to Sam 6.2.1 does not automatically remove the existing counter. This article describes the procedure to manually remove the counter using a query.

Environment

SAM 6.2.1 or later

Steps

1. Stop all Orion Services using the Orion Service Manager - Starting or Stopping Orion Services.

2. Backup your Orion database.

3. Run the following query:

UPDATE cts
SET Value = '99.9'
FROM APM_ComponentTemplateSetting cts
INNER JOIN APM_ComponentTemplate ct ON cts.ComponentTemplateID = ct.ID
WHERE ct.UniqueId = '7a7701f4-5a70-4373-bc72-72da92767752' AND cts.[Key] = 'MinSupportedVersion'

4. Start all Orion services using the Orion Service Manager - Starting or Stopping Orion Services.
