Resolution

Repairing your Orion products requires running the repair (which runs the installer) and Configuration Wizard. This process may take a bit of time to complete.

If you have the installer on the server:

  1. Open the Control Panel and open Programs and Features.
  2. Select the Orion service or product installation.
  3. Click Repair. The installer runs and repairs the product.
  4. Start the Configuration Wizard in SolarWinds Orion > Configuration and Auto-Discovery program folder.
  5. Select one or more components to be repaired and click Next. When in doubt, select all options. Note that configuring the website might take a few minutes.
  6. Verify settings and complete the wizard steps.

Check the status of your Core services to verify. If you continue to encounter issues, you may need to enter a ticket with support.

If you need the installer:

  1. Check the version of your products currently installed experiencing issues. If unsure, check the footer in the Orion Web Console.
  2. Log in to the SolarWinds Customer Portal.
  3. Stop all SolarWinds services.
  4. Download the product installer for the currently installed products.
  5. Allow the Configuration Wizard to complete after running the installer.
  6. Start all services.

Check the status of your Core services to verify. If you continue to encounter issues, you may need to enter a ticket with support.
