Application resources display empty lists if the template name ends with a space

Updated 7-25-2016

Overview

Application resources displays empty if the template name has a space at the end. Edit the resource name to remove the space. The number of applications may display correctly without a list of the actual applications. When fixed, the application resources should properly display data in views.

Environment

  • SAM 6.4 and earlier

Cause

A newly created template has a space at the end of the template name.

Resolution

  1. Open the web console and click All Settings > All Settings > SAM Settings > Manage Templates.
  2. Locate the template displaying empty application resources.
  3. Edit the template and make sure the name does not end with a space.
  4. Save changes, and test the template view.
