AppInsight for IIS: Update WsMan limits

Overview

This article provides steps to update WsMan limits.  

Environment

All SAM versions

Steps

1. Download the PowerShell script.

2. Execute the script. Right-click and apply the following parameters:

  • maxConcurrentUsersDefaultValue - Default value is 5
  • maxShellsPerUserDefaultValue - Default value is 5
  • maxMemoryPerShellMBDefaultValue - Default value is 150
  • serviceRestartRequired - Default value is $false


You can run this script with the default arguments or specify each one.

 

outside of the script itself you can find what the max shells per user is by running the following in and Admin PS:

> cd WSMan:\localhost\Shell

> dir

 

and can be changed by running:   PS> Set-Item .\MaxShellsPerUser 25
