Installing additional poller error: Contact Support for install files


This article provides steps to resolve the error while installing additional poller. The error suggests that the user must contact the Support team for installer files. 


All SAM versions


The issue occurs when the main poller version is different from the additional poller version. 


1. Uninstall SAM from the main Orion server.

a. Click Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.

b. Right-click SAM.

c. Select Uninstall.

2. Download the latest version of SAM from the Customer Portal. See Downloading the Latest Versions of Solarwinds Products.

3. Install SAM on the main poller, and then on the additional poller. 

Note: You can install the additional poller only of a main poller is installed, regardless of the product or version.
