Exchange Web Services User Experience Monitor response time issues

Overview

The response time for Exchange Web Services User Experience Monitor, such as the Exchange Web Services Round Trip Email application template, is returning large values (for example, 37 seconds instead of 2 seconds) and causing synchronization issues between the SMTP server and the Exchange server.

Environment

Sam 5.5

Resolution

Synchronize the SMTP server and the Exchange server by setting the Response time:

Response time = Message received time - Message sent time

Note: The Message received time is set by the Exchange server and the Message sent time is set by the SMTP server.
