Exchange 2010 OWA monitors are not working in APM 4.2

Overview

The following error occurs for later versions of APM with Exchange 2010 Outlook Web Application (OWA) monitors:

The user name or password you entered isn't correct. Try entering it again.

All SAM versions

Cause

The Outlook Web Application, (2010), uses the client's JavaScript code that sets one cookie before submitting the login form. APM cannot handle the client's JavaScript code without this cookie and the Outlook Web Application will always return with "The user name or password you entered isn't correct. Try entering it again," as a response.

Resolution

The following is a workaround:

SolarWinds has created a PowerShell script to resolve this particular issue for Exchange 2010 OWA. You can download the template for APM 4.2 and 4.0.2 from the following link:
