Disable components in AppInsight applications

Overview

This article describes how to determine if a component can be disabled and how to disable these components in AppInsight for SQL, AppInsight for Exhange and AppInsight for IIS.

Environment

SAM 6.2 or later

Steps

  1. Open the AppInsight application details page.
  2. Click Edit Application Monitor
  3. Expand the component setting you want to disable.
  4. Set the Enable component option to Disable.
    Note: If the Enable component option is not available, this component cannot be disabled.
