Overview

This article describes the credentials required for the TCP Port Monitor from the SAM template.

This SAM component monitor tests the ability of a TCP/IP-based service to accept incoming sessions from the perspective of the SAM server to the target node.

Environment

  • SAM 6.2.3
  • SAM 6.3
  • SAM 6.4

Detail

There are no credentials required since only the ability of the service to accept incoming sessions are tested. This can be skipped or you can inherit the non-existing credential from the template.
