Collect Application Monitor logs

This article is a step-by-step procedure on how to get Application Monitor logs from the Orion server.


All SAM versions


  1. Open the settings page for the Application Monitor that you are having issues with.
  2. Go to the Advanced section and set Debug logging to ON.
  3. Click Save and Continue working.
  4. Select the component(s) within the application and click test.
  5. Compress the following directory from the system hosting the polling engine the node is assigned to and email to SolarWinds support: 
    Where [##] is the internal ID of the application, as seen in the browser's address bar when viewing the application's settings.
