Assign a template to a node

Overview

This article describes how to assign a template or component monitor to a node.

Environment

All SAM versions

Steps

  1. In your SAM Web Console, go to Settings > SAM settings > Application Monitor Template.
  2. Select the template in the left pane and then select the box next to application template.
  3. Select Assign to Node.
  4. Select Multiple Node.
  5. Click the Green arrow. The node moves to the center pane. 
  6. Select all the preferred nodes.
  7. Click Next and continue with the rest of the steps.
  8. Assign the template to the node.
