This article provides brief information on SAM application status reflecting as critical/warning, but availability is at 100%.

No errors are listed.

All SAM versions

The critical and warning threshold values may warn of a potential problem before it occurs. This is similar to node monitoring where a volume may reach a critical threshold when disk is 95% full. Therefore it's not down, but probably needs attention. We consider this a critical status.

This is similar to application monitors, however the out of the box thresholds are not a one size fits all. Some of the thresholds need to be modified for some environments.

Check which monitors are showing critical or warning status and decide if the threshold is appropriate for your environment or if any action needs to be taken on the alerting application.
