AppInsight for Exchange: Mailbox database statistics are not appearing

Overview

Mailbox database statistics are not appearing in AppInsight for Exchange.

Environment

All SAM versions

Cause

The active copy of the database must be monitored by AppInsight for Exchange in the environment. If you are only monitoring the Exchange server that has only passive copies, no information will be gathered regarding databases.

Resolution

Add the Exchange server with the Active/Mounted database copies then database status information will appear for both active and passive copies in the Database Availability Group.
