Overview

The add Application Monitors page is empty when adding a new node.

 

 

The OrionWeb.log (C:\ProgramData\Solarwinds\Logs\Orion) also produces the following error:
ERROR SolarWinds.APM.Web.Controls.ApmAddNodePluginCheckBase - Could not load Assign Application Plugin page in Add Node Wizard
System.Web.HttpParseException (0x80004005): C:\InetPub\SolarWinds\Orion\APM\Controls\CredentialTips.ascx(30): error CS0117: 'Resources.APMWebContent' does not contain a definition for 'APMWEBDATA_PV0_3' ---> System.Web.HttpCompileException (0x80004005): d:\InetPub\SolarWinds\Orion\APM\Controls\CredentialTips.ascx(30): error CS0117: 'Resources.APMWebContent' does not contain a definition for 'APMWEBDATA_PV0_3'

Environment

SAM 6.2

Cause 

There is an issue with the resources in the Website directory.

Resolution

  1. RDP to the Orion Server/Additional Web Server that is having the issue.
  2. Open a command prompt on the Orion server.
  3. Enter the following command iireset /stop.
  4. Open the directory where the website is stored (default: C:\Inetpub)
  5. Rename Solarwinds to SolarwindsOLD.
  6. Enter the following command iireset /start.
  7. Run the Configuration Wizard.
  8. Select Website.
  9. Build it into the same directory that is listed and when prompted, create a new directory.
  10. Run the wizard to completion.
