Overview

This article explains how to set up a Serv-U domain.

Environment

All Serv-U versions

Steps

  1. On the Serv-U Management Console home page, click New Domain in the upper-left corner.
  2. Enter a name and description and click Next. This is for reference only and has no impact on the function of the domain.

  3. The next window displays a list of listeners that represent different ways that users can connect to your server. In most cases, these can be left at their default values. Click Next.

  4. Enter an IP address if the domain requires a specific, locally-assigned IP address, and then click Finish.
