How to prevent Serv-U from including the password in the File Sharing invitation

Overview

This article describes how prevent Serv-U from sending the password in the File Sharing invitation.

Environment

  • Serv-U MFT version 15 and later

Steps

1. Open Serv-U Administration Console.
2. Go to the Domain and click Limits and Settings.
3. In the Limits drop-down menu, select File Sharing.
4. Create a new limit for "Insert passwords within the invitation emails".
