File sharing disable upload from desktop in Serv-U

Overview

This is a procedure how to disable upload from the desktop or set only remote files from Serv-U.

Environment

  • Serv-U MFT 15 or higher

Steps

1. Click management console > Domain level.
2. Click Limits and Settings.
3. In the drop-down menu, select Limit type > File sharing.
4. Double-click "Allowed sent file share sources"
5. Create new limit.
6. Choose preferred sources.
7. Save.
