Overview

This is a recently discovered issue with Java version 1.0.8_191-b12 when running FTP Voyager JV. It appears that it scans a manually created shortcut and shows that it is missing even though it is actually working.

Windows x64 must be installed with Java Architecture (last column) x86_64. If you see only x86, or both, delete x86 (keep x86_64) because this version is only for x86 systems and x86 browsers. This version of Java on x64 systems has some compatibility problems. In this case, Java cannot resolve the path to the System32 folder and see a bigger part of standard windows applications.
