Configure a ServU Domain to automatically redirect from HTTP to HTTPS

Overview

This article describes how to configure a Serv-U Domain to automatically redirect from HTTP to HTTPS

Environment

  • Serv-U version 15.1.6 and below

Cause

None

Resolution

  1. Log into Serv-U console as Administrator
  2. Go to Domain Limits & Settings
  3. Under Limits tab, go to Connection Limit Type
  4. Add a new Limit for "Require secure connection before login" and set it to Yes
  5. Save

 

IMPORTANT NOTE :   This setup will also automatically redirect connections from FTP to SFTP.
