Overview

This article provides steps to uninstall Patch Manager from the server and install it on another server.

Environment

Patch Manager version 2.1

Steps

1. Open Patch Manager Licensing on on your existing server.

2. Deactivate it.

3. Go to your Customer Portal, download and install the latest version of Patch Manager on your new server.

4. When installation is completed, click Start and select Patch Manager licensing.

5. Activate your serial number.

Note: You can keep the pervious install on the old server so you can get any information needed to recreate your task and additional items you need to mirror for the new server.

You can also use this to reset your license, or just send us an email in a ticket to reset it.

See Deactivating and resetting licenses in License Manager and in the SW Customer Portal.
