Unable to export Patch Manager data to a Microsoft Access database


If you select the Export to Microsoft® Access Database (*.mdb) option when exporting data from the Patch Manager console, the export fails and the console returns the following error message.

Error Message:
Failed to export. Error Code: 1 Message: Incorrect function


  • All Patch Manager versions
  • Microsoft Access


Microsoft .NET Framework does not support exports to Access by default. To support this functionality, Microsoft requires the Access Database Engine 2010 Reditributable pack or the 2007 Office System Driver on the system generating the export.
